NCR POS & ATM Parts

NCR is the largest retail hardware vendor in North America and a top-three banking-ATM supplier worldwide. Their installed base spans RealPOS 70 and 80-series terminals, SelfServ 8x ATMs, and a long tail of legacy 7600/7700-series workstations that remain in service well past official end-of-life. We stock NCR-specific failure-prone parts — P1505 / P1535 receipt printer heads, 5945 keyboards, integrated MSR modules, RealPOS PSUs — plus the ATM card-reader head assemblies that are NCR's most-requested parts in banking service contracts. Each listing notes the OEM part number and the NCR generation it fits.

Major product families

RealPOS 70 / 80 terminals

All-in-one and modular workstations widely deployed in North American big-box retail. Replacement parts: mainboards, PSUs, touchscreen overlays, MSR sidecars.

RealPOS 7610 / 7700 legacy workstations

Older but still common in some chains. Parts demand: drive caddies, fan assemblies, PSU recapping, interface cards.

P1505 / P1535 receipt printers

NCR's branded thermal printers — same underlying mechanism as Star and Bixolon units but with NCR-specific firmware and FRU numbers. We supply head replacements, cutters and interface cards.

SelfServ 8x ATMs

NCR's flagship ATM family. Card-reader heads (read-write HiCo), receipt-printer assemblies, dispenser parts and PIN-pad modules.

5945 / 5942 keyboards

Programmable retail keyboards with integrated MSR options. Replacement key matrices, MSR heads, USB cable harnesses.

Frequently asked questions

Are NCR parts compatible with rebadged units?
Often yes — NCR and other tier-one vendors have shared OEM suppliers historically, so internal parts (printheads, drives, PSUs) may interchange even where the chassis branding differs. We confirm fitment based on the OEM part number rather than the badge.
How do I tell if I need an NCR card-reader head replacement vs cleaning?
Try a cleaning card first — 70-90% of 'failed' card readers in the field are simply dirty heads. If three passes with an impregnated cleaning card don't restore reads, the head or controller has failed and physical replacement is the next step. Our ATM card-reader-heads guide walks through the diagnostic decision tree.
What's the difference between RealPOS and SelfServ part numbers?
RealPOS is NCR's retail point-of-sale line; SelfServ is their ATM and kiosk line. Some peripherals (receipt printers, card readers) overlap at the module level, but FRU numbers differ. Always cross-reference the original part number — we list it on every product page.
Do you supply firmware or just hardware?
Hardware only. NCR firmware is proprietary and licensed to existing service contracts; we recommend our hardware customers source firmware through their NCR maintenance agreement or authorised channel partner.
