Epson POS & ATM Parts

Epson's TM-series receipt printers are the de facto standard in retail point-of-sale globally β€” the TM-T88 family alone is deployed at millions of lanes. Their thermal mechanisms set the benchmark for speed (250-300 mm/sec), print quality and reliability, but every print head eventually wears out after 1-2 million print lines, and every cutter wears after 1.5-2 million cuts. We supply genuine and quality aftermarket replacement printheads, cutter assemblies, paper-feed motors and the modular interface cards (serial, USB, Ethernet, WiFi) that let a single chassis adapt to changing network requirements. The TM-U220 impact printer line β€” the dot-matrix kitchen workhorse β€” is also well represented in our inventory.

Major product families

TM-T88 V / VI / VII thermal receipt printers

The benchmark POS thermal printer. We stock M129H-series and equivalent replacement print heads, autocutter blade kits and matching interface cards.

TM-T20 / T82 budget thermal series

Lower-cost siblings to the TM-T88. Replacement heads and cutters at a lower price point matching the unit's positioning.

TM-U220 impact (dot-matrix) printer

The kitchen-receipt workhorse. Ink-ribbon mechanism unaffected by heat. We supply replacement printheads, ribbon-feed assemblies and platen rollers.

UB-S01 / UB-U05 / UB-E04 interface cards

Epson's modular interface system. Swap a serial card for Ethernet β€” or add WiFi β€” without changing the printer chassis. We stock all common variants.

TM-H6000 hybrid (receipt + check) series

Combined thermal-receipt and impact-check imprinter. Both print mechanisms serviceable as separate replacement parts.

Frequently asked questions

Are Epson printheads interchangeable across the TM-T88 generations?
Within a series (TM-T88V to another TM-T88V), heads are interchangeable. Across generations (TM-T88V vs TM-T88VI), Epson revised the connector and head spec β€” physical fitment may match but electrical compatibility is not guaranteed. Cross-reference the OEM head part number, not the printer model.
Can I add Ethernet to an older TM-T88 with USB only?
If your printer has the modular interface slot (most TM-T88s do), yes β€” slot in a UB-E04 Ethernet card and the printer auto-detects on next power-up. Older budget Epsons with permanent-bonded interfaces require an external USB-to-Ethernet print server.
How long does a TM-T88 printhead last in heavy retail use?
Epson rates the print mechanism at 60 million lines, but the practical limit for image quality is 1-2 million lines β€” about 2-3 years at 1,000 receipts/day. Disciplined cleaning (every 2 weeks in heavy use) and quality 80 gsm paper consistently double that figure.
Are aftermarket Epson printheads as good as OEM?
Quality aftermarket heads from licensed Japan and Korea production lines match OEM density and reach 90%+ of OEM lifespan, at typically 50-60% of the OEM price. Cheap unbranded heads fail within months. We carry only the licensed-line aftermarket alongside genuine Epson stock.
