Star Micronics POS & ATM Parts

Star Micronics built the TSP receipt-printer family into the second-most-installed POS thermal line worldwide (after Epson). The TSP100 in particular is the go-to printer for tablet-based and cloud-POS deployments — its USB and Ethernet variants ship in millions of small-merchant kits each year. We stock the TSP100, TSP650, TSP700 and TSP800 series replacement print heads, autocutters and the futurePRNT-specific interface boards. Star's wider lineup also includes the SP500 impact line (kitchen-receipt alternative to the Epson TM-U220) and the rare-but-still-deployed Star mPOP cash-drawer-and-printer combo unit — both supported in our parts inventory.

Frequently asked questions

Is the TSP100 compatible with Square / Shopify POS?
Yes — the TSP100 family is one of the most widely supported printers in tablet-based POS. Square, Shopify POS, Clover, Lightspeed and most other cloud POS apps include the TSP100 driver out of the box.
Can I swap a TSP100 cutter assembly myself?
Yes, it's a 5-10 minute field job: power down, open the print cover, remove 2 screws, unplug the cutter's flex cable, lift out the old assembly, drop in the new. No firmware update required in 99% of cases.
Does the TSP143IV require new drivers vs a TSP143III?
On most operating systems they share the same driver package, but on Windows specifically the IV introduced a new chipset that benefits from the latest Star futurePRNT driver. Always install the latest driver from Star's support site after a model upgrade.
How do I know which TSP650 revision I have?
The model label on the bottom of the printer shows the specific suffix (TSP651, TSP654II, etc.). Send us a photo of the label if you're unsure, and we'll cross-reference to the correct replacement parts.

Need Star Micronics parts not listed on the site?

Send us the OEM part number or a photo of the device label — our parts team responds within one business day with availability and price.
